Associate Account Manager - Merchants
We are looking for someone with the right attitude and willingness to learn. No previous account management experience is required.
The Role
We’re looking for a motivated and customer-focused Associate Account Manager to support our Malta-based merchants using Wamo’s acquiring services.
This is an entry-level opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, solving problems, and building strong relationships. Previous experience in account management or payments is not required, as full training will be provided.
You will work closely with an experienced team to learn the acquiring industry while helping merchants with onboarding, day-to-day support, and account management activities.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in managing relationships with Malta-based merchants using Wamo’s acquiring services.
Serve as a friendly and responsive point of contact for merchant enquiries.
Support merchants throughout the onboarding process and help coordinate account setup.
Assist merchants with basic acquiring-related questions and escalate complex issues when needed.
Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure merchants are satisfied with our products and services.
Maintain accurate records of merchant interactions in CRM systems.
Work closely with Sales, Support, and Product teams to ensure a positive merchant experience.
Support the handover process from the Malta Sales Managers to the Account Management team.
Learn about merchant performance metrics and identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction.
